Yarra Valley Gourmet Foods
Yarra Valley Gourmet Foods has been creating speciality condiments within the high tourist region of the Yarra Valley for more than 20 years. Following the style of the Country Women’s Association, Wendy Jordan commenced making cordials and jams in her home-based kitchen in the late 1980s. This was the birth of Yarra Valley Preserves – meal-enhancing kitchen staples, beautifully packaged in interesting jars, and backed up by their delicious taste.

From its modest beginnings, the business, under the guidance of owner Jacqui Harvey, has grown significantly, moving into a new purpose-built ‘on-farm’ manufacturing facility in Seville, Victoria, where we are creating our own sustainable future, growing fresh produce, including our new state of the art Greenhouse, home to over 1,200 tomato plants and soon to be joined by Capsicums and Chillis.

Our amazing kitchen team proudly make our artisan preserves and gourmet foods, ably supported by a labelling and gifting team.

In addition, our 2021 Thursday crew (who we missed terribly in COVID lockdown) from the Yarra Ranges Special Development School, along with their carer Stacey, assist in making boxes and labelling jelly and mustard. All together they produce the final finished product – a beautifully labelled and branded packaged jar!
