Carboor Harvest Raw Hazelnuts are the best Barcelona or Ennis variety hazelnuts from our own farm and those of our grower partners around Australia, inspected from the cracking line and packed. Super delicious and not yukky and rancid like those in the supermarket, they are great to eat fresh or use as a base for homemade nut milk.
This product is as natural as you will ever get! It is not pasteurised so does carry residual risk of mould and salmonella (normally eliminated by the pasteurisation kill step) and is not treated with insecticide, so there is a minor risk of pantry moth. Pantry moth is a major problem with nuts as larvae lay eggs in the nuts before development of the hard shell during the maturation process on the tree.
The product is packaged in resealable standup pouches.

- Usage Suggestions: Carboor Harvest Raw Hazelnuts are an ideal start to cooked products like cakes and home-made hazelnut milk.
- Allergen Advice: This product contains tree nuts and is made/packed on equipment that also packs other tree nuts (hazelnuts, almonds, pecans, walnuts, pistachios, macadamias) and peanuts. We use best practice cleaning procedures but cannot guarantee the absence of any allergen.
- Recommended Storage: This product should be stored in the original packaging or alternative airtight container in a cool, dark place. It is possible, but not necessary to refrigerate to extend shelf life.
- Shelf Life: When stored in accordance with the Recommended Storage practices identified above, this product has a shelf life of 12 months. It is marked with a batch number and “Best Before” date for consumers reference. The product should be consumed within 3 months of opening.
