I have always loved getting out in nature and most of my artwork is centred around material I have collected while foraging out in my own environment in north east Victoria. It's amazing what textures and patterns you can find on leaves and twigs when you look closely!
I have a fast paced full time job, so being able to sit down in my space in my down time, play my favourite podcast or music and put all of my energy into creating abstract pieces of art, is amazing. I also find that foraging on walks with my dog for different materials is very therapeutic.
Each piece is constructed by natural materials collected by myself and I also try to use recycled material where I can. The unique pieces I design are mounted on to high quality textured watercolour paper with non-toxic craft glue. My pieces are also framed in versatile frames which allow you to mount the piece flat against the wall, or stand them flat on the wide flat profile.
