USER INSTRUCTIONS

Never leave a lit candle burning unattended. Keep out of reach of children & pets. Avoid exposure to drafts & direct sunlight. Never burn candles on or near anything flammable. Always place on a stable, level & heat resistant surface. Handle with care as container & wax may become hot. Let the candle burn until the liquid reaches the side to leave an even flat wax. Trim the wicks to ensure a clean candle burn & to prevent smoke & a large flame. Always leave at least 1cm of wax at base of candle, never allow candle to burn completely down as cracking may occur.

Lisa Hansen - Scents from the heart candles
Scents From The Heart Candles was first established in 2009. Starting out as a hobby for myself, as I loved burning candles and was disappointed in the quality of the store-bought products. I soon started to make candles for friends and family as gifts.

Word of mouth and of course the use of Social Media, orders for our candles started coming in very fast.

Then my then 25-year-old daughter was involved in a car accident which resulted in her having to learn to walk, talk and develop her fine motor skills. So we decided to build this hobby into a family business to help Kate with her rehab and to allow me more time at home to be with her as by then she had also been put on the transplant list for a multiple organ transplant.

We started doing all the local Craft markets which then turned into travelling all over Victoria to attend markets. In 2015 we made our first venture into retail.
Fast forward to 2020 and we are now supplying 6 retail stores, have an online presence and attend craft markets. 2020 also saw us become licensed as Australian made and Australian owned by the Australian Made campaign allowing us to display the green and gold logo on our products.
