Liz started Mwerre - Soap & Skin as a way to reinvigorate knowledge gained from working in the spa industry in Daylesford into a First Nations female-owned small business.

While working in an office job, Liz was desperate to spend for some time away from computers and devices, when she discovered soap-making as a fun and creative way to use her passion for baking and business to develop a range of Indigenous bath products.

Liz, an Arrernte woman has been inspired by her traditional language and combines Indigenous clays and bush botanicals sourced in Australia to create the Mwerre product range.
