Director of Spurrell Foraging, Liam Spurrell, is an ex-chef and after cooking for some of the best restaurants in Melbourne, traded his chef whites for secateurs and scissors to become a full-time forager. Then with a bit of spare time during Victoria’s lockdown, Spurrell Foraging began making preserves. Soon condiments and cordials became a natural progression for the business.
They offer everything from sweet and savoury jams to marmalades and jellies, to ketchups and pastes, to salts and sauces and delicious fruit cordials. Their preserves are made from freshly foraged and locally sourced produce with many flavours boasting unique Australian botanicals.
