I began knitting at the age of 6-7 finishing my first complete garment aged 10. Self-taught as I am left-handed I have a complete understanding of knitting-adapting patterns from standard right-handed patterns into left-handed whenever necessary. I have knitted for my family all my life, I'm now enjoying creating for my grandchild.

My baby rugs range from traditional plain white lacy creations, soft pastel colours through to vibrant modern designs to suit all of baby’s nursery decor. The rugs also look great as a cot blanket too.

As well as knitting I am a professional cake decorator and an accomplished land and seascape artist. Artistic design has dominated my life.
