Tinto de Verano Shiraz Lemon Spritzer Cans

Our tip of the sombrero to the classic Spanish drink. Some will remember Tinto de Verano from the time backpacking through Spain. In 2018, we recreated it with our own Shiraz Republic shiraz wine on tap at our cellar door and its popularity has led to it being packaged and shared around in a big way.

Tinto de Verano is a premixed Shiraz Spritzer. It’s made from our own Heathcote Shiraz, with a lemon spritz it has a refreshing acidity and pleasant sweetness. At 5% abv, it’s session-able and moreish, keeping you coming back for more. Serve over ice, with a slice of lemon or drink straight from the can.

Cornella Brewery has been making beer in the Central Victorian region of Heathcote since 2016, in the picturesque surrounds of award winning winery Shiraz Republic.

Initially we focused on making traditional English style beers, brewing under the name of ‘Cornella Real; an homage to Britain’s real ale movement. After time, we refined our name to just ‘Cornella’, as our range had grown beyond the English styles we love, to include more modern trends.

We were early adopters of the haze craze, with our core beer “Annie NEIPA” being brewed since 2017 - the first Central Victorian one on the market. Now, our rotating roster of beers includes many more hazy beers, as well as other IPAs, sours, lagers, natural wines and our beloved English styles.

In the last few years, we've worked with the winery team at Shiraz Republic to produce a Shiraz & Lemon Spritzer and sparkling Pet Nat wines - both available in cans.
