This stoneware vase has been allowed to spiral slightly during the making process on the potters wheel. The gently undulations are emphasised by a subtle soft shino glaze and iron spotting in the clay. It has been fired to 1300c in my kiln here on the outskirts of Mooroopna in the Goulburn Valley.
