For all the blue Willow lovers - a decorative cushion detailing Lucy's hand-painted watercolour artwork of the iconic blue Willow pattern. The cushion illustration features the key components of the story behind the Willow pattern; the Willow tree, pagoda, distant islands, little boat and the two lovebirds in flight.

The cushion has a contrasting blue chinoiserie pattern on the reverse, and smart navy piping. Mix and match Willow Pattern with other cushions in the collection: Willow Plates, Indigo, Willow Plates navy and Salix Spot.

The cushion comes with either a feather filled insert, or the cushion cover only.

Perfect for a birthday, wedding or house-warming gift - and for all the Willow lovers!

“All my designs start life as hand-painted watercolour illustrations from my country studio. An essential feature in my work is the connection to old-style kitchen paraphernalia and the English love for drinking tea. My assorted collection of vintage ceramics and retro tableware inspire my designs, along with bright cheery florals and geometric patterns.”

Lucy King - Lucy King Design
I’m Lucy, a print designer & illustrator with a background in visual arts. Specialising in surface pattern design I love colour, pattern, vintage ceramics and I’m passionate about hand crafted illustration.

An essential feature in my work is the connection to old-style kitchen paraphernalia and the English love for drinking tea. An avid fossicker for kitchen curios, my assorted collection of vintage ceramics inspires my designs, along with the iconic Willow pattern and bright, cheery florals.

Originally from England where I designed tableware for Wedgwood, I now work from my country studio in Kyneton, where my cat Jolly and a cup of tea are always close by.
